Care & Instruction

General Care Tips

  1. Read the Care Label: Each Roloz garment comes with a care label that includes specific instructions. Always follow these instructions to maintain the quality and longevity of your item.
  2. Sort by Color & Fabric Type: To prevent color bleeding, always wash like colors together. Separate delicate fabrics from heavier items to avoid damage.
  3. Turn Inside Out: Turn garments inside out before washing to help preserve colors and protect any embellishments or delicate details.

Washing Instructions

Machine Wash:

  • Use a gentle or delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water.
  • Avoid harsh detergents; mild, color-safe detergents are recommended.
  • Avoid overloading the washing machine to reduce friction and wear.

Hand Wash:

  • For delicate fabrics, hand washing is preferred. Use cold water and a gentle detergent.
  • Gently swirl the item; avoid twisting or wringing to prevent stretching.

Dry Cleaning:

  • Some items, especially those with delicate fabrics or intricate detailing, may require dry cleaning. Please refer to the garment's care label for guidance.

    Drying Instructions

    Air Drying:

    • Air drying is recommended to prevent shrinkage and maintain fabric quality.
    • Hang or lay garments flat on a clean, dry surface. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause colors to fade.

    Tumble Drying:

    • If machine drying is necessary, use a low heat setting to reduce shrinkage and fabric wear.
    • Remove items promptly to prevent wrinkles, and consider using a dryer ball to reduce static.

    Avoid Overdrying:

Overdrying can damage fabrics and cause shrinkage. Check garments periodically during drying and remove them while still slightly damp if ironing is needed.

      Ironing & Steaming

      Ironing:

      • Always check the fabric type before ironing and select the appropriate heat setting.
      • Use a pressing cloth for delicate fabrics to avoid scorching or shine marks.

      Steaming:

      • Steaming is an effective and gentle alternative to ironing, especially for delicate or structured items.
      • Hold the steamer at a safe distance to avoid watermarks and damage to sensitive materials.

      Storing Your Garments

      Fold or Hang with Care:

      • Use hangers for garments prone to wrinkles or that require structure, such as blouses and jackets.
      • Fold delicate or stretchy fabrics, like knitwear, to prevent stretching.

      Avoid Overcrowding:

      • Give each item enough space to avoid wrinkles and fabric wear. Store heavier garments separately to prevent crushing delicate items.

      Protect from Sunlight and Dust:

      • Keep clothing away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
      • Use dust bags for long-term storage of delicate or specialty items.

          Special Fabric Care

          Silk:

          • Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent or use a delicate cycle.
          • Air dry flat, and avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

          Wool:

          • Hand wash in cool water with a gentle wool detergent, or dry clean.
          • Avoid high heat; reshape while damp and dry flat to maintain shape.

          Cotton & Linen:

          • Machine wash in cool or warm water; avoid high heat in drying to prevent shrinkage.
          • Iron on medium heat, or steam to remove wrinkles.

          Synthetic Fabrics:

          • Machine wash with similar items to reduce static cling.
          • Use low heat for drying, or air dry to prevent heat damage.
